Bulk-set props_overrides across many SEND steps in one call, addressed by position — the write side of a content pipeline that generates per-edition props (e.g. an 80-week automation, one send a week). merge=false (default) replaces each step's overrides; merge=true shallow-merges. Validates all positions first (must exist + be send steps); while active, refuses positions any in-flight run has reached (pause to edit those). Non-send positions are rejected.
